It is one of the oldest holiday parks in the country, with the first chalets constructed in the early 1920s. Now a beautiful site with a vast range of individual, privately owned accommodation, including beach chalets to bungalows and lodges. Many of these have stunning sea views and all are within a few minutes’ walk of this amazing beach. Cornwall has always been a favourite of artists, writers and film producers and its rugged coasts and beautiful coves have featured in numerous films and TV series most recently, the popular Poldark series.

Winter stay at Riviere Towans:
A great choice for your winter break but please note, if you are booking to stay at Riviere Towans during the winter period there may well be disruptions and sound from nearby building and renovation works taking place on the park during your stay, including land maintenance and roadworks. The winter season runs from the 1st November until the 1st April OR a week before Good Friday, whichever is earlier.

If anything is missing from a property we carry a large stock of spare items at our office which is within a couple of miles of any of the properties. Just give us a call!

We love this chalet and have stayed in it many times and have already booked for next year! The only thing I would mention is that some kind of blind at the bathroom and toilet windows would be useful, this isn't a criticism just a suggestion 👍

We returned to Toms Holidays chalet B37 again in Apr 2017, as we were so pleased last time. The chalet is immaculately clean, and it in a fantastic position to go to the beach.

It is a lovely area of Cornwall with so much to do, we'll probably make this an annual visit!

We bumped into the owners on the way out and had a quick chat, and they sent us a little thank you for staying card after we got home - what lovely people! (Which makes it even nicer)

We stayed in B37, and were pleasantly surprised at how spotless the chalet was. It was immaculate.
(In my husband's words - upsettingly clean when you have preschoolers!)

It was yards from the path to the beach, ideal with two tired children to drag back up the hill at the end of a long day.

Beautiful views across the sea to st Ives for boat watching, and one evening we were lucky enough to see dolphins too.

Overall excellent value for a family when comparing to other options (we've stopped going to Center Parcs as it is too expensive).

We will definitely come back again next year.
