The Location
The holiday park is one of the oldest in the country, with the first chalets constructed in the early 1920s. Now a beautiful site with a vast range of unique, quirky and privately owned accommodation, including beach chalets, bungalows and lodges. Many have stunning sea views and all are within a few minutes walk of the beach.
On the doorstep
Walk the coastal path at low tide all the way along the beach from Hayle river mouth to the Cliff tops of Godrevy and the surf break at Gwithian where you’ll find great food and drinks from cocktails to coffees, ice creams and fresh seafood at the local cafes and restaurants.
For those seeking surf, beginners to experienced surfers and bodyboarders can enjoy doorstep breaks at Hayle Rivermouth and Mexico Towans, both within walking distance of the park. Paddle boarding and kayaking on the Estuary, as well as kitesurfing and windsurfing are popular all year round.
Hayle is home to the RSPB Hayle Estuary Reserve, Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary, Hayle Lido, ice cream parlours, gift shops, great food (including Cornwall’s best Pasties from Philps), pubs and supermarkets.
Further Afield
Take the coastal train from Lelant to St. Ives, and visit The Tate & Barbara Hepworth museums. Visit Newlyn Harbour and Fish market for the best in Cornish Fish. Wander around the historical market town of Penzance, taking in the Harbour and Egyptian House or take a day trip to Lands End and coastal walk to Sennen Cove.
Find your way to Knill's Monument and Steeple Woodland Nature reserve, a 40 acre public open space which overlooks St Ives Bay before making your way down to Carbis Bay for fabulous food, drinks and its sheltered beach.

Riviere Towans is a great choice for your winter break, but it’s also the period that our owners tend to build and renovate, and when essential land maintenance and roadworks are done. Disruptions and sound may affect neighbouring properties, so please get in touch with us before booking if you are concerned.
The winter season runs from the 1st November until the 1st April OR a week before Good Friday, whichever is earlier.
All the properties we manage are self-contained and self-catering. All the kitchen equipment you will require for your stay is provided in the property. All properties include a microwave, TV, iron and heating to name but a few of the basics. A large number also include washing machines but do check the property particulars above.

A slice of beach heaven!
Wow! What can I say about this place! I just come home from having spent a gorgeous week here. Check-in was super simple and our chalet was ready for us two hours before we were due to check in which was fantastic after our long drive.
Upon arrival, we were blown away with the view from our chalet. We stayed in C24 Rosemary and she was amazing! The beach view was stunning! The chalet itself was beautifully decorated with tons of character. Super cosy and it completely had that beach vibe about it. You really do feel like your on your holidays staying here. I had such a good night's sleep every night as the beds were so comfy. I honestly do not think I have stayed anywhere as good as this place. The sliding doors out to the veranda overlooking the beach and out to sea was the talking point all week for us. I definitely recommend bringing binoculars as you can see St Ives in the distance plus all the wonderful surfers and boats. I loved how you could hear the sea from the chalet, we didn't have the tele on at all whilst we were there apart from when it went dark. There were plenty of towels for everyone and everything you could need. The washing machine came in very handy. You can tell the owners have put alot of thought, care and attention to detail into this chalet with their own nik naks/books dotted around the rooms. The location is beautiful. Plenty of gorgeous beaches and eateries in the area. We really recommend getting the train from St Eirth station to St Ives, we parked at the station then got the train from there. It really is the best train ride with stunning views on a clear sunny day. Took about 10 minutes each way and took the hassle out of trying to find a parking spot at St Ives. Reasonable prices as well. It cost £10 for a family of five and we could use it all day. Lots of other places to visit as well, too many to mention! Asda and Lidl just down the road from Toms. The site itself is huge with different size chalets dotted in the dunes. Unspoilt beauty all around and spotlessly clean and well maintained. Very very quiet during the day and night. If your after a quiet get away beside the sea then this is the place. I hope to come back in the future as this really is a little slice of beach heaven.

We stayed in C24 Rosemary in August 2024. The area around Hayle beach is stunning. The parking was easy with shared spaces a few meters in front of the lounge patio doors. Access to the chalet was simple with a keysafe. On entering the accommodation, we were blown away! The rooms and decor were really beautiful, rustic, and homely. Somebody had spent a lot of thought and effort making this chalet the way it is with loads of attention to detail using lots of wall art and curios. We loved it! The bedrooms were comfortable, restful, and nicely decorated. Bathroom facilities were great with a good shower and always plenty of hot water. The Lounge area was lovely with a glass door that slid open very wide to allow the sounds and smell of the ocean in. The views from the chalet were amazing with the ocean vista stretching across the front and beautiful green hills to the side. The kitchen was rustic and retro with all the kit needed except a freezer. 100% will come again.

We really enjoyed our stay, loved the closeness to the beach, and it was easy to get around in a car. There are some sand toys at the property and our little one put them to good use. The team was really responsive.

What a beautiful, stylish place to relax, thank you! The views are great and only a 5 minute walk down to the beach. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches the owners have put into designing the interior. It's uncluttered, chic and a perfect fit our family of 4. You could easily sleep 5 or 6. The area is ideal for stunning walks, runs, beach days. Ignore the weather forecast- it was sunny most days. We preferred beach days here instead of the crowds at St Ives. The shop, a short walk away, is very well stocked. Would recommend Cove Café for very good seafood. Iced by the Quay does amazing biscoff cruffins for pudding (to share!). We didn't need our car most days. Would highly recommend Tom's and this chalet in particular.

We used to go Toms Holidays when our children were young so decided to come back this year after 20 years ! We were not disappointed, one of the most beautiful places in the UK, Hayle beach is amazing !! We stayed in C24 Rosemary, absolutely spotless Chalet, very modern & Retro, would highly recommend a stay here, cannot wait to return in 2024
