Key Features

A beautifully maintained property, set in a quiet part of the park with a good sized enclosed balcony, yet still only a few minutes' walk to the shop, bus stop and beach.

Fresh, modern comforts in a charming beach bungalow, Lanteglos sits toward the back of the Riviere Towans chalet park and sleeps up to six. Inside, an open- plan living space feels bright and airy, with an L-shaped sofa and two comfy armchairs for unwinding after beach days or adventures around West Cornwall. Full, dedicated fibre broadband keeps everyone connected between outings.

Outside, a bench near the side door is perfectly placed to catch the morning sun, while the fully enclosed front balcony creates a safe outdoor living area for children and pets. With café-style table and chairs, two benches, solar lights and an outside electric light, it’s easy to extend time outdoors day or evening (weather permitting). There’s also an outside cold-water tap for quick rinse-downs after the beach.

A Message from Toms Holidays
We’d love to welcome you to Riviere Towans. Our friendly on-site team is here every day from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday, and 09:00 to 13:00 on Sundays, to make your holiday as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Whether you need housekeeping help, local travel tips, or just a friendly chat about the best spots for coffee, we’re right here. Plus, for peace of mind, we have a 24-hour out-of-hours number, so you’re never without support during your stay.

The Location
Riviere Towans has been part of Cornwall’s holiday story since the 1920s, when the very first beach chalets were built. Today, it’s a charming mix of quirky, privately owned holiday cottages, chalets, bungalows and lodges, many with breathtaking sea views. Best of all, every property is just a short stroll from the golden sands of Hayle Beach and the sparkling waters of St Ives Bay.

On Your Doorstep
Step outside and you’ll find adventure and relaxation waiting. Wander the coastal path from Hayle Estuary to Godrevy Lighthouse, stopping at beach cafés, seafood shacks and surf spots along the way. Surfing, paddleboarding, bodyboarding, kayaking and even kitesurfing are all on offer within walking distance. Nature lovers can enjoy the RSPB Hayle Estuary Reserve, while families will love Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary, Hayle Lido, and, of course, Cornwall’s famous ice-cream parlours and pasty shops.

Further Afield
A short train ride along the coast takes you to the vibrant harbour town of St Ives, home to Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum. Explore Penzance’s historic streets, Newlyn’s bustling fish market, or head further west to Land’s End and the rugged cliffs of Sennen Cove. For panoramic views, walk up to Knill’s Monument and Steeple Woodland before heading down to Carbis Bay for fine dining and a sheltered swim.

A Year-Round Destination
Cornwall is a timeless favourite with artists, writers and filmmakers — from Poldark to Hollywood blockbusters. Whether you’re after a laid-back beach break, family adventures or a romantic coastal escape, Toms Holidays at Riviere Towans is the ideal base.

Winter Stays
Riviere Towans is just as magical in winter, with bracing walks, cosy pubs and fewer crowds. Do note that this is also when many owners carry out renovations and site maintenance, which may cause some background noise. If you’d like reassurance before booking, our team will be happy to chat. The winter season runs from 1 November to 1 April (or the week before Good Friday, whichever comes first).
All our holiday homes are self-catered, with well-equipped kitchens, TVs, heating and plenty of home comforts. Many also include washing machines. Check the property details above to see the exact facilities available.

Lanteglos is a lovely, homely property. We’ve stayed there twice now, and both times it was well equipped and clean. Perfect if you have a dog as there’s a little area by the entrance for a quick walk. It’s not far for Hayle or the beach. We would definitely recommend staying here.

I have used the site for around 30 years and have enjoyed every holiday. It is difficult to think of any improvement to the site that would not destroy the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere the site holds.

Couldn't fault it, the chalet was beautiful and very clean! Had everything that was needed..would definitely pick that chalet again, as next year we're looking at coming back again with our dog this time :-) we had quite a nice view, sat outside couple nights watching sun set, it was beautiful..Had my three boys, so the toys that was in the chalet was a hit for them! Boys absolutely loved the chalet and didn't want to leave!

Hayle is a beautiful place full of amazing locals. The beach is self is very clean with clear blue sea and almost white shinning sand. Many places to vist and walk your dog sadly many beaches do not allow dogs after Easter Sunday till end of September. There is a beach which allows dogs all year round. Great food, Asda and Lidil for shopping. We stayed for a week at Toms Holiday in a Houese number G3. Big kitchen full of cooking equipment, joined with a living/dining room. There are 3 rooms, 2 with double beds and one with 2 single beds. Each room was provided with a comfortable matress, we all were reseted after each night. Enough space for clothes in the room also. As we own a dog we really enjoyed the feneced area at the front with benches. Overall, one of the best holidays I had in a while none of us wanted to leave and we will be back soon!

Stayed in G03 Lanteglos was a lovely bungalow, beds were very comfortable, very clean and with in walking distant to the beach. The Staff were very helpful and other holidays maker very friendly. The only thing i would change would be a light outside the side door and the chairs to the table as the legs stick out and fell other them a few times.
