Key Features

In a quiet location nestled in the grassy dunes, Wellington is a dog friendly holiday home with comfortable accomodation for up to 6...

Wellington enjoys a quiet setting toward the back of the park, yet it’s still only a short walk to the beach and to the stunning stretch of the South West Coast Path that runs from Hayle Estuary to Gwithian. A spacious beach bungalow with an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, it’s a welcoming bolthole for friends, couples and families. With three bedrooms (two doubles and one bunk room), it’s comfortable and well equipped for slow mornings and lazy evening meals after days exploring St Ives Bay and beyond.

Step outside to the grassy dunes around Wellington for sunset sit-outs or clear night stargazing. Inside, the lounge’s large picture window looks across the green dunes and the nearby children’s play area, a handy view for family stays. The layout is simple and practical — no internal steps — with a hallway that offers a coat hook to the left and a good-sized storage cupboard to the right, making beach days and coastal walks easy to gear up for and wind down from.

A Message from Toms Holidays
We’d love to welcome you to Riviere Towans. Our friendly on-site team is here every day from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday, and 09:00 to 13:00 on Sundays, to make your holiday as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Whether you need housekeeping help, local travel tips, or just a friendly chat about the best spots for coffee, we’re right here. Plus, for peace of mind, we have a 24-hour out-of-hours number, so you’re never without support during your stay.

The Location
Riviere Towans has been part of Cornwall’s holiday story since the 1920s, when the very first beach chalets were built. Today, it’s a charming mix of quirky, privately owned holiday cottages, chalets, bungalows and lodges, many with breathtaking sea views. Best of all, every property is just a short stroll from the golden sands of Hayle Beach and the sparkling waters of St Ives Bay.

On Your Doorstep
Step outside and you’ll find adventure and relaxation waiting. Wander the coastal path from Hayle Estuary to Godrevy Lighthouse, stopping at beach cafés, seafood shacks and surf spots along the way. Surfing, paddleboarding, bodyboarding, kayaking and even kitesurfing are all on offer within walking distance. Nature lovers can enjoy the RSPB Hayle Estuary Reserve, while families will love Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary, Hayle Lido, and, of course, Cornwall’s famous ice-cream parlours and pasty shops.

Further Afield
A short train ride along the coast takes you to the vibrant harbour town of St Ives, home to Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum. Explore Penzance’s historic streets, Newlyn’s bustling fish market, or head further west to Land’s End and the rugged cliffs of Sennen Cove. For panoramic views, walk up to Knill’s Monument and Steeple Woodland before heading down to Carbis Bay for fine dining and a sheltered swim.

A Year-Round Destination
Cornwall is a timeless favourite with artists, writers and filmmakers — from Poldark to Hollywood blockbusters. Whether you’re after a laid-back beach break, family adventures or a romantic coastal escape, Toms Holidays at Riviere Towans is the ideal base.

Winter Stays
Riviere Towans is just as magical in winter, with bracing walks, cosy pubs and fewer crowds. Do note that this is also when many owners carry out renovations and site maintenance, which may cause some background noise. If you’d like reassurance before booking, our team will be happy to chat. The winter season runs from 1 November to 1 April (or the week before Good Friday, whichever comes first).
All our holiday homes are self-catered, with well-equipped kitchens, TVs, heating and plenty of home comforts. Many also include washing machines. Check the property details above to see the exact facilities available.

Been coming for years with our own kids now fetch our grandsons. For the last 3 years stayed in G21 Wellington perfect size with swing and sand pit right outside and plenty of space. We have stayed in numerous chalets and private but this ticks all boxes including washer and fridge freezer , plenty of wardrobe space and bedrooms a decent size. But could do with a bigger telly it's on the wall high up and very small. Only used it when children in bed. Added bonus it's dog friendly. Never really had a problem with wi fi for the iPad .
