Trelinda, Riviere Towans

Light, bright and set in a peaceful spot on Riviere Towans, Trelinda is a three-bedroom chalet offering an easy coastal escape. It’s a relaxed base for beach walks, days exploring St Ives Bay, or simply switching off in a beautiful setting between dune wanderings and seaside sunsets. Dedicated WiFi keeps everyone connected when you need it.

Sleeping up to six guests, Trelinda has a spacious living/kitchen/dining area and a shower room, with a coastal feel throughout. To the front, a bistro table and chairs invite that first coffee or an evening sundowner; to the rear, a large picnic table is perfect for simple alfresco meals after a day on the sand. Parking is available adjacent to and opposite the chalet.

- Shower Room - Fitted shower cubicle, basin and WC; washing machine in a handy utility corner.
- Outside - Bistro table and chairs at the front; large picnic table at the rear.
- Parking - Adjacent and opposite the chalet.

The Location
Riviere Towans has been part of Cornwall’s holiday story since the 1920s, when the very first beach chalets were built. Today, it’s a charming mix of quirky, privately owned holiday cottages, chalets, bungalows and lodges, many with breathtaking sea views. Best of all, every property is just a short stroll from the golden sands of Hayle Beach and the sparkling waters of St Ives Bay.

On Your Doorstep
Step outside and you’ll find adventure and relaxation waiting. Wander the coastal path from Hayle Estuary to Godrevy Lighthouse, stopping at beach cafés, seafood shacks and surf spots along the way. Surfing, paddleboarding, bodyboarding, kayaking and even kitesurfing are all on offer within walking distance. Nature lovers can enjoy the RSPB Hayle Estuary Reserve, while families will love Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary, Hayle Lido, and, of course, Cornwall’s famous ice-cream parlours and pasty shops.

Further Afield
A short train ride along the coast takes you to the vibrant harbour town of St Ives, home to Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum. Explore Penzance’s historic streets, Newlyn’s bustling fish market, or head further west to Land’s End and the rugged cliffs of Sennen Cove. For panoramic views, walk up to Knill’s Monument and Steeple Woodland before heading down to Carbis Bay for fine dining and a sheltered swim.

Winter Stays
Riviere Towans is just as magical in winter, with bracing walks, cosy pubs and fewer crowds. Do note that this is also when many owners carry out renovations and site maintenance, which may cause some background noise. If you’d like reassurance before booking, our team will be happy to chat. The winter season runs from 1 November to 1 April (or the week before Good Friday, whichever comes first).
